Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

Simplifund is a personal budgeting app. This policy explains, in plain language, what it keeps, why, and what you can do about it.

What Simplifund keeps

Simplifund does not connect to your bank and cannot move money. It has no ads, and no tracking or analytics tools.

Signing in with Google

If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares only your email address, confirmation that it is verified, and an account ID that links your Google account to Simplifund. Simplifund never sees your Google password, and cannot read your Gmail, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.

Simplifund's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How it is used

Your information is used only to run Simplifund for you: to sign you in, save your figures, and send password reset emails you ask for. It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored in a secure database run by Supabase, and the app runs on Railway's hosting. Password reset emails are sent through Resend. These services handle your data only to provide Simplifund. Connections to the app are encrypted.

Your choices

Children

Simplifund is not meant for children under 13, and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
